The seesaw in the cryptocurrency market continued over the past 24 hours, as 9 of the top 10 cryptos registered gains, following losses in the previous session. At the time of writing, Bitcoin was up around 3%, once-again climbing above the $5,200 mark. The recent gains covered the losses Bitcoin suffered over the past 7 days.

BNB leads top 10

Of the 9 top 10 cryptos to register gains over the past 24 hours, the largest gains were logged by Binance Coin (BNB). At the time of writing, BNB was up more than 4%, bringing its weekly total to more than 7%. Binance Coin is holding on to its spot as the world’s 7th-largest crypto by market cap, being one of only 3 top 10 cryptos to register overall gains over the past week.

EY unveils new Ethereum platform

“Big Four” accounting firm Ernst and Young (EY) has announced new Ethereum-based software which will enable corporations to harness the power of blockchain to their advantage. The software, code-named “Nightfall,” is intended for a variety of use-cases, such as transactions, supply chain management, public finance and more. EY intends to release the software for free this coming May, using an open-source, license-free model. “The cleanest way to make everybody use it is just to give it away with no strings attached,” EY’s Global Innovation Leader for Blockchain, Paul Brody, told the press.
