Apple shakes-up streaming market
At its much-anticipated press event yesterday, tech giant Apple unveiled its latest product lines, including new iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches. However, perhaps the most influential announcement came in the form of revealing the price tag for its upcoming streaming service: $4.99 a month – significantly cheaper than its rivals. As a result, Netflix fell more than 3%, Disney dropped more than 2% and Roku tumbled more than 12%, while Apple registered gains of nearly 1.2%.
Today’s highlights: Bitcoin falls to $10,000
- Bitcoin dips to $10,000: The negative momentum in crypto markets continued over the past 24 hours, as the majority of cryptos were seen lower at the time of writing. Bitcoin fell more than 2%, reaching the $10,000 support level. After being able to resist the negative trend over the past few days, EOS finally fell in line with the market, falling around 3%.
